We’ll root out corruption in Congress and the courts so politicians serve the people, not themselves.
Ban political insider trading:
Require all lawmakers and families to divest from individual stocks.
Mandate blind trusts for any assets held in office.
Expel and criminally charge members who break the law.
Enact term limits for Congress and the Supreme Court:
Limit House members to 6 terms (12 years) and Senators to 2 terms (12 years).
Impose 18-year staggered terms for Supreme Court justices.
Transition justices to senior status after their terms.
Eliminate dark money in politics:
Pass a constitutional amendment overturning Citizens United.
Require real-time disclosure of all campaign contributions and independent expenditures.
Ban foreign-owned or shell corporations from political spending.
Prosecute corruption and hold the powerful accountable:
Establish an independent anti-corruption prosecutor.
Expand DOJ resources for prosecuting political and white-collar crimes.
Eliminate statute-of-limitations loopholes shielding political corruption and trafficking networks.
